Check out my mini-review for Love Too Easily 2 below:
Pros:
- Fun story.
- Satisfying true endings.
Cons:
- Screen tearing.
- Can’t skip any cutscenes that you previously watched.
Overall:
Love Too Easily 2: Summer Pocha is a FMV dating game where you were tricked into running a small rooftop cafe. Throughout your misadventures, you will meet five love interests.
In addition to making the right choices, you can also improve your relationship by giving gifts at the end of the chapter. You will also need to upgrade certain individual attributes after every chapter for self-improvement and make yourself more attractive.
While the requirements for the true endings are tough to achieve, the twists and revelations make the commitment well worth the effort. While I won’t spoil much, I will say that you will go through a rollercoaster of emotions if you decide to get all the best endings.
The main problem is that you can’t skip any cut scenes that you have already watched. There is a menu that you can bring up by pressing on the touch pad, but that doesn’t stay long enough for you to select the skip option.
The game also suffers from a lot of screen tearing, although you eventually kind of get used to it after a while.
If you don’t mind the drawbacks, then Love Too Easily 2: Summer Pocha is fun FMV dating game with a much deeper plot than what you may expect.
