I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Waterpark Manager Simulator, thanks to a review copy provided by Upscale Studio.
You can check out my gameplay video below:
You can read about my impressions of this game below:
Pros:
- Fun and addicting gameplay loop of running a waterpark.
- Game leans into its jank in hilarious ways.
Cons:
- Progression can be slowed significantly due to expensive licenses.
Overall:
In Waterpark Manager Simulator, you run a small waterpark business starting from scratch. At first, you need to clean the vacant area, purchase furniture, and handle cashiers duties.
As you earn more revenue, you get to hire employees, buy more exotic furniture, and open a food court to bring in more money.
Waterpark Manager Simulator doesn’t take itself too seriously as you can blast customers off their feet and send them flying. Once you get used to its gameplay loop and hire cashiers, the game can be quite fun for a while.
Unfortunately, you will eventually hit a wall when it comes to money. After a certain point, you need to spend a lot just get a license to build or sell products. Since you need to pay bills and purchase inventory as well, progression will slow dramatically.
If you don’t mind the long grind, then Waterpark Manager Simulator is a pretty decent simulation game that doesn’t take itself seriously.
