A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina on PS5 Pro: Mini Review After Getting the Platinum Trophy

I recently got a chance to play through A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Ratalaika Games. You can find my full gameplay, which includes unlocking the Platinum Trophy, below:

You can also check out my mini-review below:

Pros:

  • Fun puzzle platformer with time stopping mechanic.
  • Unique visuals.
  • Easy trophies.

Cons:

  • Short length with little replay value.

A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina is a puzzle platformer where you play as a frog reaper trying to find frog souls. The game has a unique look, combining 2D pixel characters with low-poly 3D environments.

The game also uses a time-stop mechanic, which you need to defeat enemies and navigate through levels. Figuring out how you get to the frog soul is quite funny as you need to experiment with freezing and unfreezing time at just the right moment.

The only potential negative is that A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina is a short game. While 40 levels sound like a lot, you can breeze through a vast majority of them in less than a minute.

It took me less than an hour to beat the game. On the flip side, the Platinum Trophy is easily obtainable as you most likely get it after clearing half the stages.

If you don’t mind the short length, then A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina is a fun puzzle platformer that will test your thinking skills.
