I recently got a chance to play around one hour of Drug Dealer Empire on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Upscale Studio.
You can find my playthrough below:
You can also check out my first impressions below:
Pros:
- Fun gameplay loop once you learn the ropes.
- Gradual progression keeps the game fresh.
Cons:
- Various immersion breaking glitches.
Overall:
Drug Dealer Empire is a videogame where you run an underground business. You have to create the product, sell it to customers, expand your business, and evade the cops.
Once you learn how the game works, it can become a fun and addicting loop, especially when you are raking in the money.
The progression is also nicely paced as new areas, tools and story elements open as you pay off your big debt.
The only drawbacks are some of the glitches I experienced. There was one faraway building that pops in when you get close enough. I also saw the same two NPCs stuck walking into a fence throughout my playthrough. While not game breaking, these certainly break the immersion.
Even with the bugs, Drug Dealer Empire can still be a very fun game if you are into shop simulators.
