How to beat the Building Speed level in Astro Bot

This Seeking Tech guide will explain how you can beat the Building Speed stage in Astro Bot. In order to fully complete this speedrun level, you need to outrun the red bird to the stage exit. This opponent will take around 45 seconds to finish.

There are a few shortcuts you can take although you don’t need to do all of them to beat the red bird. Use the following video as a reference:

For the first step, you should do a short burst as soon as the race starts. Afterwards, slide down the slope and then jump when you get to the last arrow. You should then boost over to the jumping pad.

Next, you need to do a short jump and then boost to the platform straight ahead.

You then need to boost long enough to break the boxes blocking your way.

You can then try doing short bursts to navigate across the construction beams. When you land on the second beam, head straight to the next platform to save a few seconds.

When going up the slope, use short bursts to quickly navigate it.

You can then jump and boost to get over the glass platforms and into the launch pad.

When dealing with a series of launch pads, try to boost into the edge of the one that is closest to you to add more speed.

You should then boost past the spinning sponges.

When sliding down the slope, move to the right. You will need to jump off to the right when you get near the last arrow. While in the air, hover and then do a long boost to get past the boxes on the next platform.

When you slide down again, jump when you get to the last arrow and then boost. You can then use short bursts to quickly navigate over the rotating beams and into the jumping pad. This may take some practice and require a little bit of luck.

When you get to the jumping pad, try to boost near the bottom of the next launch pad.

This run took less than 33 seconds. So, you should have more than enough leeway if you want to run across some sections normally instead of using the shortcuts.
