How to beat the final boss in Final Fantasy II with no Blood Sword

The Blood Sword is the easiest way to beat the last boss in Final Fantasy II. If you don’t have this easily missable weapon, then you will have a much harder time in the fight, especially when it comes to damaging him. This Seeking Tech guide will show you the best way to beat the Emperor without the Blood Sword.

For this method to work, you need Haste and Berserk. If you don’t have these as spells or tomes, then you need to backtrack all the way back to the B3 floor of the Jade Passage.

You should find a black mage hidden behind a waterfall at the bottom who will sell Haste and Berserk Tomes. Make sure you buy as many as you can before making your way back to the final boss.

Afterwards, give your best weapons to the character with the highest attack power.

Once you have everything set up, start the battle with the Emperor. When it comes to this fight, the character holding the best weapons should be your main attacker. The other three party members should focus on boosting the main attacker with Haste and Berserk.

Otherwise, they should focus on healing and raising the party’s defense. If you stack enough Haste and Berserk, you should be able to start racking up a lot of damage.
