To beat the stage quickly, you should ingore all the other enemies and only focus your attacks on Gilvaroth. Area attack skills like Bomb and Cyclone II work well against the boss. Keep in mind that the Shadowloom towers will heal Gilvaroth at 275 HP apiece if his HP falls below 1500 HP. So you should make sure you can deal a lot of damage against the boss every round.
If your party is properly equipped, then you should be able to beat the final boss in less than 5 turns.
