This Seeking Tech guide will show you how you can find all 12 missable enemies in the Pixel Remaster version of Final Fantasy II. The two points of no returns are the completions of Mysidian Tower and Castle Palamecia. Hopefully, you haven’t gone past these dungeons yet.
Phorusracos (Bestiary Entry #11)
The Phorusracos can only be found in the upper right, as well as lower left corners, of the world map. You most likely encounter it near the Dreadnought dungeon. You need to beat this enemy before beating the Mysidian Tower.
Antlion (Bestiary Entry #31)
The Antlion can be found in the eastern continent. You most likely encounter it in the massive desert there. This enemy must be beaten before the Mysidian Tower is completed.
Land Ray (Bestiary Entry #53)
The Land Ray enemy can only be found in the eastern continent of the world map. It is most commonly encountered in the big desert there. Make sure you add it to your bestiary before completing the Mysidian Tower.
Killer Fish (Bestiary Entry #40)
Killer Fish can be found in the oceans of the world map. You must defeat one before you finish the Mysidian Tower, or you will miss out on it.
Helldiver (Bestiary Entry #42)
Helldiver can be encountered while traveling through the oceans on a ship around the world map. You may also find it inside the Dreadnought dungeon. You must defeat this enemy before completing the Mysidian Tower.
Buccaneer (Bestiary Entry #45)
The Buccaneer is another enemy that you will encounter while exploring the oceans. Make sure you defeat one before you clear the Mysidian Tower.
Sea Snake (Bestiary Entry #52)
The Sea Snake can be found in the oceans of the world map as well. Once again, you need to defeat this creature before the Mysidian Tower is completed.
Skull can be found in the Castle Palamecia dungeon. So, make sure you encounter and defeat it before confronting the boss or else you will miss out on this entry in your bestiary.
Eyemoeba (Bestiary Entry #71)
The Eyemoeba can be found in the Cyclone and Castle Palamecia dungeons. Both of these locations can only be visited once. If you didn’t encounter it in Cyclone, then Palamecia will be your last chance to find this enemy.
Black Knight (Bestiary Entry #91)
The Black Knight is exclusive to the Castle Palamecia dungeon. You need to encounter and beat it before you reach the boss; otherwise, you will get locked out of the bestiary entry.
Stone Golem (Bestiary Entry #94)
The Stone Golem is another enemy that can only be found in Castle Palamecia. So make sure you defeat one before leaving this location.
General (Bestiary Entry #106)
The General can be fought when you open one of the chests in the Cyclone dungeon. If you missed out on the chest, then you have one last chance at finding this enemy as a random encounter in Castle Palamecia.
