In order to delete the forgotten PIN, password or pattern, you can try taking the following steps:

1. To begin, you need to download the Xperia Companion program, which you can find on the official Sony website with this link.

To run this program, you will need either a PC or Mac with at least 5 GB of free space and 2 GB or RAM.

On the PC you will need a CPU that is Intel Pentium 4 or better. The operating system should be either Windows 8.1 (64-bit) or Windows 10 (64-bit).

On the Mac, you will need a CPU of 2.0 GHz intel Core 2 Duo or better. Your operating system should be Mac OS version 10.13 or newer.

For the PC, you simply open the installation file and then follow the on-screen instructions.

For the Mac, you need to move the downloaded file to a temporary folder. Next, you need to open the file and then drag the Xperia Companion icon inside of it into the Applications folder of your Mac.

3. After the installation has been completed, open the Xperia Companion program.

4. With the program opened, click on the “Software repair” option that should appear on the front page of the menu.

5. Afterwards, follow the on-screen instructions.

At some point, you will need to enter the login details for your Google account that you were using with the Sony Xperia PRO-I.

You will also be asked to connect your phone to your computer or Mac with an USB cable.
