Chrome Extension
If you keep using Chrome, then the most convenient way to disable the AI overview is by installing an extension. There is a highly rated one called Hide Google AI Overviews, which you can download with the following link:
Incognito Tab
If you don’t want to install an extension, then you can search using the incognito tab.
You can also try signing out of your Google account. Keep in mind that, if you do so, then you will also be signed out of your accounts as well.
Instead, I recommend that you either use the aforementioned extension, or incognito mode.
Alternate Web Browser
Of course, you can also try using another web browser for your Google searches. This is because AI overview is currently limited to Chrome.
