Total Speaker Power

The MX-T50 speaker can emit 500 watts in terms of measurable power. The MX-T70 speaker is three times more powerful at 1,500 watts.

Power Consumption

The MX-T50 and MX-T70 uses the same amount of electricity. Both main systems and woofers utilize just 0.5 watts in stand-by mode. During operations, both Samsung Giga Party Audio Systems will consume 31 watts on the main unit as well as 28 watts on the woofer.

Number of Channels

The Samsung MX-T50 is a 2.0 system as it comes with a two speakers setup. The Samsung MX-T70 is a 2.1 system as it comes with a two speakers setup in additional to a built-in subwoofer.

Samsung Giga Party App

The Samsung MX-T50 and MX-T70 are compatible with the Samsung Giga Party App. Using your Android or Apple smart phone, you will be able to change the light effects, sound effects and EQ settings.

The Android operation system needs to be Android OS 6.0 or later while the Apple operation system needs to be iOS 10.0 or later.

DJ Effect

With the aforementioned app, you can also set several DJ Effects such as Crush, Chorus, Filter, Noise and Wahwah.

AV Decoding Formats

Both audio systems from Samsung support the same audio decoding formats: AAC, FLAC, MP3, WAV and WMA.

Connectivity

The connectivity options are also identical. For wired connections, there are one analog 3.5mm audio input, two Type-A USB connectors and wired group party play. For wireless, there are Bluetooth, Bluetooth multi-connection and wireless group party play.

Group Party Play

The aforementioned Group Party Play is a feature where you can connect up to 10 Samsung Giga Party Audio Systems. The connections can be mixed and matched between the MX-T40, MX-T50 and MX-T70 models.

Spill Resistance

The top panels for both audio systems are spill resistant. Thus, it should be able to withstand light liquid splashes and drips.
