Key Type

All four gaming keyboards are equipped with soft cushioned gaming-grade keys, which are designed to sound quiet and feel comfortable.

Polling Rate

Polling rate measures how much your keyboard will send data to your computer.

All four products feature 1000 Hz Ultrapolling, which means that they will send data to your PC 1,000 times per second.

Rollover

Rollover is a feature where your computer will register multiple keys that were press simultaneously.

The Razer Cynosa Lite features a 10-key rollover, which means that it should able to register up to 10 key press if you press them all at the same time.

The Razer Cynosa Chroma and Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro support 10 key rollover and anti-ghosting, a feature that will block additional simultaneously key presses from being registered after the 10-key limit has been reached. This is done to prevent any erroneous key registrations.

The new Razer Cynosa V2 features the more advanced N-key roll over, which will register all simultaneous key presses without any issues.

Programmable Keys

The Cynosa Lite, Cynosa Chroma, Cynosa Chroma Pro and Cynosa V2 all have fully programmable keys in addition to providing on-the-fly macro recording, a feature that lets you set up a sequence of key presses without any software.

Razer Synapse 3

Of course, you can also use the Razer Synapse 3 software to configure your macros. With this program, you can also rebind buttons, customize lighting, setup profiles and more.

The Razer Cynosa Lite, Razer Cynosa Chroma, Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro and Razer Cynosa V2 all support Razer Synapse 3.

Dedicated Media Keys

With the Cynosa V2, Razer added dedicated media controls as you will have quick access to pausing, playing and skipping media files. You can also adjust the brightness and volume levels with dedicated keys.

Game Mode

All four gaming keyboards in this versus guide come with a game mode, which prevents you from accidentally interrupting your game session when enabled.

Backlighting Type

All four products use Razer Chroma RGB backlighting, which provides 16.8 million customizable colors. The Lite version of the Cynosa uses a single zone while the Chroma, Chroma Pro and Chroma V2 use individual backlit keys.

Underglow Lighting

The Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro also features underglow lighting that will light up the underside of your keyboard. As a result, you get to set up the lighting for the 22 bottom zones on the left, right and front sides.

Cable Routing Options

The new Razer Cynosa V2 Gaming Keyboard have been built with grooves that will let you tuck and rout the cable in three different directions. This is helpful for those who want to make their desktop area less cluttered and more organized.

Spill Resistance

The Cynosa Lite, Cynosa Chroma, Cynosa Chroma Pro and Cynosa V2 have been built to be spill resistant as the devices should be able to withstand light splashes of water (the keyboards can’t be submerged in water, however).
