Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure on PS5 Pro – First Impressions

I recently got a chance to play Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure for around an hour on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by HandyGames.

You can check out my gameplay video below:

You can also find my first impressions on Oddsparks below:

Pros:

  • Unique mix of Pikmin and automation builder.
  • Online co-op for up to four players.

Cons:

  • None.

Overall:

Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is an adventure game that combines elements from Pikmin with automation builders.

As the main character, you can throw your spark companions at various objects to farm resources. You can also throw them at enemies to engage in a fight.

Once you get enough resources, you can start building various structures that can be eventually automated to help you get more resources.

The feedback loop is quite addicting, as building a structure takes up a lot of work. Once you build it and automate the processing, then all your hard work will pay off and then some.

To make building more efficiently, you can play Oddsparks online as the game supports co-op for up to four players.

If you are a fan of Pikmin and/or automation games, then you should definitely check out Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure.
