I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Monuments Renovator, thanks to a review copy provided by Ultimate Games.
You can take a look at my gameplay video below:
You can also check out my first impressions of Monuments Renovator below:
Pros:
- Relaxing renovating gameplay.
- Easy to follow objectives.
Cons:
- Text is way too small.
Overall:
Monuments Renovator is a simulator where your job is to renovate select monuments. These include the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Great Wall.
To do so, you have to pick up trash, clear out debris, and repair damaged parts. While that may sound daunting, the game will usually point to where you need to go and tell you what you need to do.
With that said, the text in the game is way too small if you are playing on a television set. You basically put your face just a few inches away from the screen in order to read the objectives in the top right corner. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to change the text size.
If you don’t mind the small text, then Monuments Renovator is mostly a stress-free restoration game for those looking for a relaxing experience.
