MGS3 (Master Collection): How to unlock the High Resolution Mode

This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to unlock the High Resolution Mode in the Master Collection version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

If you haven’t done so already, make sure you download the latest patch for MGS 3 on your PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or PC. The high resolution texture pack isn’t available on other platforms.

Afterwards, you can follow the video and text guides below:

Step 1: In the Main Menu, select Download.

Step 2: Select High Resolution Texture Pack.

Step 3: Download the free add-on.

Step 4: After installation, go to Main Menu and select Options > Screen.

Step 5: Set Resolution Settings to High Resolution Mode.

Step 6: Start your game and enjoy the higher resolution textures.
