Lexar’s Play PRO microSD Express Card has been confirmed to be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.
These memory cards have a read speed of up to 900 MB per second and write speed of up to 600 MB per second. There are currently three capacity options available: 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.
For the informed, the Nintendo Switch 2 comes with only 256 GB of storage. The standard microSD card is not compatible with the new console. Instead, you need to get the faster microSD Express card.
