Trophy Tips:

Make sure you die by stepping on a blue, red, and yellow block when you are in anon-matching color. Doing so will unlock the Feeling Blue, Red Alert, and Not-So-Mellow Yellow trophies respectively.

Hold L2 button to rewind when you die. Otherwise, you have to start the level from the beginning.

The rest of the trophies should unlock by beating the first 20 levels. These are Sticky Situation, Monette Saved, Colorful Quest, Spike Rescued, Lever Fever, Familiar Face, Hello Yellow, and On My Bucket List.

  • Pros:

Fun puzzle platformers with unique mechanics.

  • Rewind feature.
  • Easy trophies.

Cons:

  • None.

Overall:

Inkventure is a side scrolling puzzle platformer where you play as a green blob who must rescue his children.

As a natural green blob, he can safely touch green surfaces. For other surfaces that are different colors, he has to use a paint can in order to change to a matching color for safe traversal.

Inkventure is quite a fun variant of “The Floor is Lava.” Each level is quite engaging, as you will be looking around and pre-planning your next move.

While some of the jumps can be tricky and lead to death, the game offers a rewind function by default. Instead of starting the level all over again, you can simply rewind back to just before the jump.

Overall, Inkventure is a great little 2D puzzle platformer, especially if enjoy playing “The Floor is Lava.”
