If you accidentally enabled the text-to-screen menu narrator in XDefiant, then you can check out this guide at Seeking Tech to see how you can disable it.
1. Open up Settings from the main menus of XDefiant.
2. You should then go to Language and Accessibility.
3. Scroll down until you reach Menu Narration.
4. Set Menu Narration to Off to disable the text-to-speech voice.
5. Alternatively, you can leave Menu Narration enabled, and then adjust the Menu Narration slider to 0.
