PlayStation Plus videogames from the Game and Classics Catalogs will expire. As a result, you won’t be able to play them past the expiration date even if you remain a member of the service and downloaded the game files previously.
To see how you can find the full list of the “last chance to play” titles from your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition console, you can take a look at this tutorial from Seeking Tech.
1. For the first step, you need to turn on your console and then go to the home screen menu if you haven’t done so already.
If you are doing something else on your PS5 at this moment, then you can bring up the home screen by pressing and holding the PS logo button on the controller.
2. From the home screen, select the PlayStation Plus app in the Games section. If you are viewing the Media section instead, then you have to press L1 to switch over to Games.
3. Inside of the PlayStation Plus application, press the R1 buttons a few times to switch over to the Collections tab.
4. Next, you have to scroll down to the Collection tab until you get to the “Last chance to play” row.
5. Afterwards, move all the way to the right and then select the View All options.
6. You should find the full list of games that are leaving the Game and Classics Catalogs soon.
To sort and filter this listing, you can select the Sort and Filter option located on the left side. When it comes to sorting, you should see the following options:
- Default
- Name (A to Z)
- Name (Z to A)
- Release Date (Old to New)
- Release Date (New to Old)
- Recently Added to PS Plus
7. If you are interested in playing a game from this list, then make sure you select it.
You should then see the Download button, as well as the date as to when the game will be removed from PlayStation Plus, on the game’s product page.
