If you pre-order Redfall or download it from Game Pass, then you will get the Vampire Hunter Pack. By purchasing the Bite Back Edition, then you will get even more bonuses. 1. For the first step, you should make sure that you actually qualify for the DLC extras. The aforementioned Vampire Hunter Pack comes with the following:
- Grim Tide Shotgun
- Polar Vortex Skin
- Blood Ravager Stake Mod
The Redfall Bite Back Edition bonus content include the following:
- Engineer Volunteer Remi Outfit
- War Clothes Layla Outfit
- Eyes in the Dark Jacob Outfit
- Northern Expedition Devinder Outfit
- Tactical Knife Stake Mod
- Laser Beam Multi-Weapon Skin
2. It is also important to note that you may not have progressed far enough into the campaign to unlock these DLC items and cosmetics. You can find the unlock requirements for each below:
- Grim Tide Shotgun: Finish the “Dead in the Water” mission
- Polar Vortex Skin: Equip the first weapon you find in the game.
- Blood Ravager Stake Mod: Acquire a weapon with a stake.
- Engineer Volunteer Remi Outfit: Create and select Remi from the main menu.
- War Clothes Layla Outfit: Create and select Layla from the main menu.
- Eyes in the Dark Jacob Outfit: Create and select Jacob from the main menu.
- Northern Expedition Devinder Outfit: Create and select Devinder from the main menu.
- Tactical Knife Stake Mod: Acquire a weapon with a stake.
- Laser Beam Multi-Weapon Skin: Equip the first weapon you find in the game.
3. You should make sure that you have the DLC installed as well. When we downloaded Redfall from Xbox Game Pass on our Xbox Series X, the Vampire Hunter Pack was not part of the initial installation.
To manually install the DLC packs for this game on your Series S or Series X, you need to do the following:
- If you are currently playing Redfall, you need to press the Xbox logo button on the controller to open the Guide menu. From there, move the cursor over to the game’s icon and then press the Menu button. Finally, select Quit.
- Next, press the Menu button with the cursor over Redfall’s icon again. This time, you need to select “Manage game and add-ons” from the pop-up window.
- From the Manage – Redfall menu, select the top right option.
- You should see the list of add-ons that you have access to in the Internal Storage screen.
- If the box for the add-on does not have a check mark, then you need to select it.
- Afterwards, select Save Changes.
- Once the DLC pack has been downloaded and install, boot up Redfall again.
4. If you still can’t access your DLC items and/or cosmetics, then you can try restarting the game.
5. You should also make sure that you have the latest patch installed as it may help fix the missing downloadable content issue.
6. If there is an issue with the game’s servers, then you may not be able to access the DLC. In this case, you need to wait until the servers are fully operational again.
