Multiplayer is a new feature added to Synth Riders Remastered Edition on the PlayStation VR2. By default, you will be able to play online with other players on other players.
If you would rather disable cross-play in order to get as fair as a competition as possible, then you can check out this tutorial from Seeking Tech to see how you can properly do so.
1. For the first step, you need to enter the Settings menu in the game. You can find and select the “Settings” option from both the pause screen and title screen.
Alternatively, you can select the gear cog icon at the top of the stage selection menu.
2. Once you have made your way over to Settings, you need to select Multiplayer on the left column.
3. On the right side of the same screen, you should see the PlayStation Only setting under the Platform section.
4. To disable cross play, make sure that the PlayStation Only is set to On.
5. Exit out of the Settings menu after you turn off cross-platform play.
6. You should now only be matched up with others who are playing on a PlayStation console.
If you would like to enable cross-play at some point, then you need to return to the Settings > Multiplayer menu. From there, make sure that the PlayStation Only setting under the Platform section is set to Off so that you can play with players on other platforms.
