How to connect INZONE H7 and INZONE H9 to the PS5

Sony’s new INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset and INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset are compatible with the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition.

To see how you can connect these devices to your console, you can take a look at this tutorial from Seeking Tech.

1. Before you start, you should make sure that the your INZONE H7 or INZONE H9 have sufficient battery life. Otherwise, you may not be able to connect it to your PS5.

2. For the best wireless connection, make sure that the headset is within 3 feet (or 1 meter) of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition system.

3. To begin, make sure you connect the USB transceiver to the USB Type-A port located on the front side of the console.

Although you can also use either of the USB Type-A ports at the back of the system, you may end up getting a worse wireless connection as the signal will have to go through the PS5 console in order to reach the INZONE H7 or INZONE H9.

4. After connecting the USB transceiver, make sure that the slide switch has been set to PS5.

5. Next, you can turn on your game console.

You can do so by pressing the power button located on the system or by pressing the PS button on the DualSense controller.

6. After turning on the PS5, you then need to turn on your INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset or INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset.

In order to do so, press and hold the power button located on the right ear cup for a minimum of two seconds.

If done correctly, you should hear a notification and see the power indicator show a white light for 2 seconds if you have the INZONE H7.

For the INZONE H9, you should hear a notification as well as see the left and right show a white light for 5 seconds.

7. After turning on your headset, it should automatically try to connect to your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital Edition system.

If you have a INZONE H7 Wireless Gaming Headset, then the power indicator will slowly flash a white light if there is no connection. If the wireless connection has been made, then you should hear a notification as well as see the power indicator quickly flash a white light for 5 seconds before switching to a slower pace.

If you have a INZONE H9 Wireless Noise Canceling Gaming Headset, then you should hear a notification as well as see white lights flashing slowly on both the left and right ring indicators. If you can’t establish a wireless connection, and you have the Bluetooth mode disabled, then the left and right ring indicators will both quickly flash white lights.
