At the start of the fight, make your way to the room with a red canister on the ground. Stand next to it and wait until the spider gets close. Once you get the prompt, throw the canister at the boss and then start shooting at the weak spot on its back.
If you do enough damage, the spider will run away. Follow it to the hallway and then shoot at its weak when it is retreating.
Once it goes off screen, return to the room with the red canister. There should be a small ladder that leads to the second floor. Once you climb up, wait for the spider. If it appears on the second floor, quickly drop down to the first floor and run away before returning later on to this same spot.
If the spider appears on the first floor, lure the boss to the second floor and quickly throw the red canister. Afterwards, shoot at the weak spot while the spider is stunned before running away once it recovers.
During the final phase of the fight, the spider will start shooting its babies at you. To avoid this, return to the room on the first floor where you first found the red canister.
From there, you need to stand at the location where the room connects to the hallway. Look around both the left and right sides to see where the spider is coming from. If you spot the boss turning its back on you, try to aim for its weak spot and then quickly use the wall to block its long-range web attack. Afterwards, clear out any baby spiders on the ground. Repeat this step until the boss dies.
