Hotel Empire: Check Inn on PS5 Pro: First Impressions

I recently got a chance to try out around an hour of Hotel Empire: Check Inn on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by 3 River Games.

You can find my gameplay video below:

You can also read about my initial impressions of Hotel Empire: Check Inn below:

Pros:

  • Fun mix of management sim with light puzzles.

Cons:

  • Tutorial menus may not close.

Overall:

Hotel Empire: Check Inn is a management simulator where your job is to build a hotel and manage it.

To build a hotel, you have to make sure each room have enough space, including having a foundation. Furthermore, you also need to make it accessible. This means that you can’t have any empty spaces in between rooms.

Along with building new rooms, you need to keep your customers satisfied with food, laundry, sauna, and other accommodations. As you may expect, money plays a huge part, as you won’t have enough to do everything. Instead, you often have to choose between adding more rooms, upgrading your accommodations, or hiring more staff.

The only real drawback is the clunky tutorial menus, which sometimes won’t close for some reason even if you did what the game asks. Once you make it past the tutorial, however, you should have a more enjoyable experience.

Overall, Hotel Empire: Check Inn is an addicting management simulator that contains quite a bit of content. In one hour, I was only able to complete the first level. If you are a fan of management sims, make sure to check this game out.
