I recently got to play around an hour of Fireball 2, thanks to a review copy provided by Radiangames.
You can find my gameplay video, as well as written impressions, below:
Pros:
- Simple but hard to master gameplay.
- Visually mesmerizing.
- Multiple difficulty levels.
Cons:
- None.
Overall:
Fireball 2 is a puzzle game where you take on blobs of enemies that will chase after you.
To counter, you need to trigger bombs across the battlefield. These bombs can be powered up, creating supernovas and even a black hole.
Your main objective is to dodge enemies until you can find a bomb. You should then lure the enemy to the bomb before setting it off.
While simple, Fireball 2 is pretty hard to master, as the action can get pretty hectic towards the later stages. Not to mention that there are even harder difficulty levels available once you clear all the stages for the first time.
Overall, Fireball 2 can be quite addicting, especially since the constant barrage of explosions can be quite mesmerizing. If you are a fan of puzzle games, make sure to give this a shot.
