I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Fight School Simulator on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Ultimate Games.
You can find my gameplay video below:
You can also find my first impressions of Fight School Simulator below:
Pros:
- Fun Kung Fu sandbox and simulation gameplay.
- Side quests and random events add variety.
Cons:
- Clunky combat.
Overall:
Fight School Simulator is a game where you get to run a small martial school by recruiting new students, buying equipment for them to work out, and teaching them new moves.
You can then take your students along to complete various side quests that pop up in the small village, such as opening the garden path being blocked by thugs or guarding the massage place from thieves at night.
Once you get the hang of the controls, Fight School Simulator can be a very fun sandbox. Rival schools may randomly attack yours, while thieves may try to rob you at night. Along with the aforementioned side quests, these random events keep the experience fresh and engaging.
The only real negative is that the first-person combat feels a little bit clunky. Hitting your opponent lacks a visual impact and the enemy models can sometimes glitch out when defeated.
Outside of that, Fight School Simulator is one of the more unique job simulators that is perfectly worth checking out if you are a fan of martial art movies.
