The SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable V2 is also the only one of the two to come with a forged aluminum chassis that functions as a heat sink.

The SanDisk Extreme Portable V2 is smaller than the pro version. It is also the only one to offer a 500 GB capacity option.

The normal version of the Extreme Portable V2 is slightly smaller than the Extreme Pro Portable V2.

Forged Aluminum Chassis
