I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Blackshard on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Redlock Studio.
You can check out the first 60 minutes of the game below:
You can also check out my first impressions of Blackshard below:
Pros:
- Stylish minimalist graphics.
- Interesting locations and characters.
- Multiple endings.
Cons:
- Technical issues.
Overall:
Blackshard is a first-person walking simulator where you get to explore a surreal environment. The game features a stylish minimalist look that sets it apart from others in the same genre.
During my time within the labyrinth, I was able to travel through numerous interesting locations and meet with some unique characters. The game is paced pretty well as you will encounter a lot of new and intriguing stuff. Not to mention that there are also multiple endings available for you to find.
The only issue I have with the game is that the FPS will dip below 60. I also encountered a handful of crashes during my one hour of playtime.
Outside of the technical issues, Blackshard is quite a fascination walking simulator that is worth paying if you are into exploring an unique world.
