With the Amazon Halo View, you will be able to view same text messages you normally get on your smartphone.

1. If you haven’t done so already, download and then install the Amazon Halo app on your smartphone.
For this application, your device needs to be running Android 8.0 (or later) or running iOS 13.0 (or later).
You can find the app on the Google Play Store on an Android phone or the Apple App Store on the iPhone.
2. After downloading and installing the app, pair the Halo View to the Bluetooth connection on your phone if you haven’t done so already and then sync it to the Amazon Halo app.
3. Now that you got the aforementioned prerequisites have been set up, go to the Settings of the Amazon Halo app.
4. Next, you need to select Notifications.
5. Afterwards, turn on text messages in the Productivity section.
6. After turning on text massages in the Amazon Halo app, you then need to turn on notification support for the application on your phone.
If you have an Android phone, you need to go to the Settings of your device and then select Bluetooth. Next, tap the gear wheel icon next to your Amazon Halo View. In the Device Details screen, make sure that the Text Messages setting is enabled.
If you have an iPhone, go to the Settings of your device and then tap Bluetooth. In the Bluetooth menu, tap Halo View and then make sure that Show Notifications is turned on.
7. Once you set up notifications support for the Amazon Halo app on your phone, you then need to restart your Amazon Halo View.
In order to do so, swipe downwards from the top of the home screen. Afterwards, select Settings and then Restart.
After restarting the fitness tracker, it should now be able to show the same text messages that will appear on your phone.
