I recently got a chance to try out Brigandine Abyss on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Happinet and NIS America.

Pros:
- Lots of content with six campaigns.
- Overwhelming deep systems.

Overall:
Brigandine Abyss is a tactical role-playing game where you can play as one of six campaigns, each of which is expected to last around 20 hours. If that wasn’t enough content, the game also offers a Mission Mode where you can play as any of the 24 nations.
In terms of combat, the game offers an overwhelming number of deep systems. To succeed, especially at the harder difficulties, you have to take into account the terrain, traits, zone of control, rallying, elemental weaknesses, and much more.
Outside of combat, you also have to organize your nation, including choosing which territory to attack. By acquiring land, you can add more resources to pay for upgrades.
The only negative with Brigandine Abyss I experienced so far is the graphics, which is rather underwhelming even when compared to other tactical JRPGs. I recommend turning the Prioritize Graphics option to Off, at least on the PS5 Pro, so that you can get 60 FPS to make navigating the map during battles much smoother.
Even with the less than stellar visuals, Brigandine Abyss is still a deep and content-heavy experience that should be enjoyable to fans of tactical role-playing games.
