I recently got a chance to play around an hour of Grizzy & the Lemmings – Crazy Party on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Balio Studio.

Pros:

Grizzy & the Lemmings – Crazy Party is a Mario Party style game based on the Grizzy & the Lemmings animated series.
The developer did a great job with the audio and visual presentation. The music is great, and the game even supports the built-in audio speaker of the DualSense.
Visually, the game is also quite detailed and vibrant. There is a good amount of variety when it comes to mini-games, from racing down a skiing drop, to running from a dinosaur, to attacking Grizzy in first-person.
In the main Party Mode, four players compete against each other by traversing through a board and tackling different mini-games. In order to win, you must collect Yummy Jars by winning mini-games and making your way through the board.
You can play Crazy Party in single player versus computer-controlled opponents. The game also supports local multiplayer play for up to four players.
The only minor complaint regarding the Party Mode is that the speed up option does not stay enabled. This means you have to increase it manually from time to time if you want the board game portion to go faster.
The Party Mode offers seven boards in total. Outside of that, there is a Minigames Mode, which lets you skip the board game portion to only focus on the mini-games. Within it, there are six sub-modes: Free Mode, Random Roulette, Everyone Picks, 2v2 Team Battle, Bounty and King of the Hill. As you can see, there is a lot of content to discover.
