I recently got a chance to play around an hour of 7 Shifts in Subway on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Own It Studio.

- Simple but tense gameplay.

Overall:
7 Shifts in Subway is a horror game similar to Five Nights at Freddy’s. Instead of a security guard, you play as a subway operator whose job is to follow the rules.
While there are regular passengers, you will encounter unique ones that require special rules. A woman in a white dress, for example, will require you to turn the lights on when it goes off. Failure to do so will fail your shift.
Unfortunately, some of the rules are unclear. For instance, the rule for a sleeping passenger mentions that you must wake them up after five stops. It doesn’t specify if the stop in which the sleeping passenger boarded counts as the first stop or not.
The vague rules can be frustrating if you are deep in your shift and have to start all over again because the rules aren’t clearer.
Outside of that, 7 Shifts in Subway is a fun and creepy horror game, especially for fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s.
