Rally Mechanic Simulator on PS5 Pro: First Impressions

I recently got a chance to try out around an hour of Rally Mechanic Simulator on the PlayStation 5 Pro, thanks to a review copy provided by Ultimate Games.

You can check out my gameplay video and written impressions below:

Pros:

  • Intricate rally car repair simulation.
  • Extensive tutorials.

Cons:

  • Steep learning curve.

Overall:

In Rally Car Mechanic Simulator, your job is to repair a rally car. In order to do so, you have to inspect, assemble, dissemble, repair, and clean the vehicle.

While this can be quite complicated, the game provides a rather extensive tutorials that will break you into the action. The guide will highlight where you need to go as well as tell you what you need to do.

With that said, Rally Car Mechanic Simulator still has a pretty steep learning curve. For instance, some parts, like the windows, can’t be repaired at all. So, you need to purchase one from the shop that fits into the car model. Some of the car parts are also hard to find if you aren’t familiar with the inner workings of a rally car.

If you can overcome the steep learning curve, then Rally Car Mechanic Simulator provides a deep and realistic simulation. If you are into these types of simulators, then make sure to check out this game.
