I recently got a chance to play through Overpowered 2 – Crux of Fate, thanks to a review copy provided by eastasiasoft.
You can find my platinum trophy gameplay below:
Trophy tips:
- Focus on getting the weapon kill trophies for Throwing Axe and Bayonet Knife to get them out of the way.
- After getting enough kills with the Throwing Axe, you will unlock the Farmer’s Pitchfork. Get enough kills with the Farmer’s Pitchfork to get the Ancient Boomstick. You should now be done with the melee weapons, which are the weakest in the game.
- Next, focus on getting kills with the long range weapons.
- At the same time, try to get three of the same power-ups to unlock their respective trophies. You may need to bring up the trophy menu to see which power-up you should be targeting.
- To get the Drenched in Acid trophy, you need to get hit from projectiles. You should get this naturally while attempting the other trophies in the game.
- You may pick up white circular items, which are use for rerolls. When leveling up, you can reroll using these items to change what you get. Reroll ten times in total to unlock the Sleight of Hand trophy.

You can find my mini-review of Overpowered 2 below:
Pros:
- Unique twist to Bullet Heaven genre.
- Fun trophies.
- Cheap price.
Cons:
- Lack of content.
Overall:
Overpower 2: Crux of Fate is a Bullet Heaven game, which means your primary goal is to dodge enemy attacks and pick upgrades when leveling up while your weapons auto fire.
What makes Overpowered 2 somewhat unique is that it uses practical weapons like knifes, axes, and various firearms.
As you make your way through the waves of enemies, you will level up. Based on a random selection, you can either boost various stats or add more to your weaponry.
There is a luck system that makes the game easier after every attempt. With that said, you will most likely beat all 20 waves within an hour or two.
Despite its short length, the game is pretty fun, especially if you are trophy hunting. All the trophies are either tied to weapon or power-up upgrades.
While lacking in content, Overpower 2: Crux of Fate is quite cheap to purchase. So, if you are a fan of Bullet Heaven games, then make sure to check it out.
