When you try to play Payday 3 with a mouse and keyboard on a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, you may find that the game isn’t registering your inputs. To see how you can potentially fix this issue, you can take a look at this troubleshooting article from Seeking Tech.
Before we begin, it is important to note that mouse and keyboard controls are not officially supported by the game at launch even though this combination worked in the beta release.
When you try to plug the keyboard and mouse into your PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, the keyboard will work just fine but the mouse won’t. We were able to get the mouse cursor to show up on the screen but we weren’t able to look around. The mouse buttons also do not work.
So, the only potential fix is to wait for the development team at Starbreeze Studios to patch the game to add support for this control scheme.
In the mean time, we suggest that you let the company know that you want keyboard and mouse support. In order to do so, you can add your feedback in the Feature Upvote section of the official Payday 3 website. In fact, there is already a big thread regarding this issue. So, feel free to add your comments there.
