Quick Summary
The new LM1200 Netgear 4G LTE Modem uses an USB power adapter and 4FF Nano SIM card slot. Netgear also added a LAN Ethernet port.
Moreover, the newer model supports more LTE CAT 4 bands (B2, B4, B5, B12) in addition to more UMTS DC-HSPA+ bands (B2 and B5) when compared to the LB1120.
The older LB1120 is the only one of the two to support 2G. It also uses a standard power adapter.
Both modems have the same system requirements and support services.

The LB1120 is slightly heavier when compared to the LM1200.

Band Support
The LM1200 supports more bands when compared to the LB1120. The new model utilizes B13, B14, B66 and B71 at LTE CAT 4 and B4 at UMTS DC-HSPA+.
The two models support the same B2, B4, B5, B12 bands at LTE CAT 4 and B2 and B5 bands at UMTS DC-HSPA+.
