HP recently released two new LaserJet printers. So, what are the main differences between the M209dw and M209dwe models?
You can find out in this comparison guide.
Quick Summary
Unlike the HP LaserJet M209dw Printer, the HP LaserJet M209dwe Printer comes with HP+. This feature will give you an extra year of warranty coverage, 6-month trial for Instant Ink and 24-month trial for HP App advanced features. The M209dwe is also the only one of the two to support HP’s Forest First initiative.
On the other hand, the LaserJet M209dw does not require an Internet connection. You can also use a third-party replacement cartridge along with an official replacement cartridge instead be being limited to only using the official one.
Overall, if you don’t mind being limited to using only official replacement cartridges and the online-only requirement, the LaserJet M209dwe is more affordable and provides more value when compared to LaserJet M209dw.
