According to internal testing done by HP, the HP 53X High Yield Black Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge is able to print out approximately 4,000 more pages when compared to the HP 53A Black Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge.
In terms of percentages, the X version has a 133.33% yield advantage when compared to the A version.
The internal tests by HP were done using the ISO/IEC 19752 methodology.
