Page yield measures the output of a HP 147 cartridge in terms of the number of pages it is capable of printing out before it needs to be replaced.

According to internal testing done by HP, the HP 147Y can print around 16,800 more pages (or 66.67% more) than the HP 147X and 31,500 more pages (or 300% more) than the HP 147A.

The HP 147X can print 14,700 more pages (or 140% more) than the HP 147A.

These tests were done using the ISO/IEC 19752 methodology.
