How to open and customize quick settings on Pixel 6/Pixel 6 Pro

You can use the quick settings menu to easily make changes on the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro.

How to open quick settings on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

There are two ways to open the quick settings menu on the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro.

The first of which is to use one finger to swipe downwards from an empty space on the home screen. This will only show the 4 top-most settings. To view the next 4 settings, you can either swipe to the left, right or down.

The second method is to use two fingers to simultaneously swipe downwards from the top of the home screen. This will show the 8 top-most settings.

By default, the four top-most settings are the following:

  • Internet
  • Bluetooth
  • Do Not Disturb
  • GPay

The next four settings are the following:

  • Flashlight
  • Auto-rotate
  • Battery Saver
  • Airplane mode

In order to view more active quick settings, use a finger on the right edge of the screen and then swipe to the left. Make sure you are swiping in the Quick Settings portion of the screen.

On the new page, you will get the following settings by default:

  • Device controls
  • Scree Cast
  • Hotspot
  • Data Saver
  • Battery Share
  • Night Light
  • Extra dim

How to customize the quick settings menu of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

In order to customize the quick settings menu on the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, you need to take the following steps:

1. Pull down the quick settings menu.

2. Make sure that that the menu is showing 8 settings. If you only see 4, swipe downwards again to view the other settings.

3. Next, you need to tap the small pencil icon located below the quick settings.

4. In the Edit menu, you can drag any setting you want added or remove from the quick settings menu.

You can add the following settings:

  • Alarm
  • Screen
  • Mic access
  • Camera access
  • Location
  • Invert colors
  • Dark theme
  • Storage
  • Focus mode
  • Bedtime mode

  • Nearby Share
