How to fix Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra Bluetooth connection issues

When trying to connect another device to your Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ or Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, you may experience Bluetooth connection issues.

To see how you can potentially fix these problems with your tablet, you can take a look at this troubleshooting article from Seeking Tech.

1. In order to connect another device to your Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ or Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra via Bluetooth, you first need to pair it to your tablet.

To do so, you need to take the following steps:

  • Open the Settings App on your S8, S8 Plus or S8 Ultra.
  • In Settings, select Connections.
  • You then need to select Bluetooth.
  • Make sure that the Bluetooth connection has been enabled.
  • On the other device, make sure that you also have the Bluetooth connection turned on.
  • With Bluetooth enabled on both, you should see the other device appear on the Bluetooth menu of your S8, S8 Plus or S8 Ultra. Select it to start the pairing process.

2. If you paired the two devices together correctly but are still experiencing Bluetooth issues, then we recommend moving the two devices closer together as the wireless connection has a limited maximum range.

3. You should also avoid placing any solid objects in between the two as it may block the wireless communication.

4. Having other wireless device nearby may also interfere with the Bluetooth connection between your Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ or Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and the other device. Therefore, you may want to turn off any other wireless devices or move to a more suitable location.

5. The Bluetooth connection may not work at all if your tablet and/or the other device are overheating. If this is the case, then we recommend trying again after one or both of the devices cool down.

6. You can also try restarting your Samsung Galaxy Tab as well as the other device. Doing so will help clear out any potential software conflicts, reset the Bluetooth connection and free up more hardware resources.

7. You can also try deleting the Bluetooth pairing of the two devices and pair them again. To delete a pairing, you need to do the following:

  • Launch the Settings App on your S8, S8 Plus or S8 Ultra.
  • Go to Connections.
  • Go to Bluetooth.
  • Tap the gear icon next to the other device.
  • Select Unpair.

After you unpaired the other device, pair it again to your tablet to see if the Bluetooth connections problems are now fixed.

If you are still experiencing problems when using this wireless connection, then we recommend contacting Samsung for additional support.
