When trying to connect the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 to another device via Bluetooth, you may experience unstable connections, disconnects and other wireless issues.
You can take a look at this troubleshooting guide at Seeking Tech to see how you can fix the Bluetooth problems with this tablet.
1. The first step you can take is to make sure that the Bluetooth connection is currently enabled on the Galaxy Tab A8.
If the wireless connection is turned on, you should be able to see the Bluetooth icon located at the top of the screen on the tablet.
2. You can also try to refresh the wireless connection.
In order to do so, you can take the following steps:
- Swipe downwards from the top of the screen to access the Notification Panel.
- Tap the Bluetooth icon to turn the wireless connection off and then tap the same icon again to turn it back on.
3. Make sure that the device you are trying to connect the tablet to is turned on.
4. If you haven’t done so already, you need to pair the other device to your Samsung Galaxy Tab A8.
To do so, you need to take the following steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- Inside Settings, select Connections.
- You then need to select Bluetooth.
- Make sure you set the other device to Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On the Bluetooth menu of the A8, make sure that Bluetooth connection is currently enabled.
- Select the device from the list to begin the pairing process.
5. If you are still experiencing issues with the Bluetooth connection, then you can try moving the Galaxy Tab A8 and the other device closer together.
Keep in mind that the maximum Bluetooth range for this tablet is 10 feet.
6. You should also make sure that there are no solid objects in between the tablet and the device you are trying to wirelessly connect to.
7. Furthermore, you need to avoid having any other wireless devices nearby as it may also interfere with the Bluetooth connection.
8. Bluetooth signals are also weaker outdoors when compared to an indoor setting. So, if you are outside, try to move the A8 tablet as close to the other device as possible.
9. Another potential fix is to restart your device as doing so will refresh the Bluetooth connection and clear out any potential software conflicts.
To reset the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, press and hold the Side key to bring up the power menu. In the new menu, select the Restart option.
10. You can also make sure that your tablet don’t get too hot as it may disable its Bluetooth connection as a result.
