When trying to connect your Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra to another Bluetooth device, you may experience issues with the wireless connection.
To see how you can fix your Bluetooth problems with the S22 series, you can take a look at this troubleshooting article from Seeking Tech.
1. The first step we recommend taking is to make sure that you have Bluetooth connection enabled on your Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus or Galaxy S22 Ultra.
To quickly enable Bluetooth, swipe downwards from the top of the screen to open the Notification Panel. You should then see the Bluetooth icon where you can turn the wireless connection on if it hasn’t been already enabled.
2. You should also may sure that the other device you are trying to connect has Bluetooth enabled.
3. You won’t be able to connect your phone to the other device if it hasn’t been paired. To pair the two, you can take the following steps:
- Open the Settings App on your S22 phone.
- In Settings, tap Connections.
- You then need to tap Bluetooth.
- On the other device, make sure you set it to Bluetooth pairing mode.
- The other device should appear in the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone.
- Tap the device on the Bluetooth menu to start the pairing process.
4. If your you are still getting an unstable wireless connection, then you can try moving your Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ or Galaxy S22 Ultra closer to the other device as it may be out of range.
The maximum distance should be no more than 10 feet.
5. Other wireless devices, like a Wi-Fi router or other Bluetooth devices, may also cause interference.
In this case, you can either turn off the other wireless devices that you have nearby or move your phone and the device you are trying to connect to over to a new location that has no Bluetooth interference.
6. Of course, you should also avoid having any solid objects, like walls or metals, in between your phone and the other device. Otherwise, the Bluetooth signal will become weaker.
7. If repositioning the phone and the other device did not resolve your issue, then you can try turning off the Bluetooth connection on your phone and then turn it back on again.
8. You can also try restarting both your Samsung phone as well as the other device to see if you can get a better Bluetooth connection.
9. Moreover, you can try unpairing the other device from the Bluetooth menu of your phone and then pair the two together again.
10. Resetting the network settings of the Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ or Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra may also help fix the Bluetooth issues.
In order to do so, you need to take the following steps:
- Go into the Settings App on your phone.
- Select General Management.
- Select Reset.
- Select Reset Network Settings.
- Select Reset Settings.
- Select Reset.
11. If your smartphone and/or the other device is wet or overheating, then Bluetooth may not function properly.
12. If none of the aforementioned potential solutions help with fixing the Bluetooth problems, then you may want to contact Samsung for additional support.
