How to create human like text-to-speech for free

This Seeking Tech guide will show you how to use the robust text-to-speech features in the Clipchamp video editor.

1. For the first step, open up Clipchamp.

You can do so by either using the website or downloading the software to your PC.

2. In the editor, you need to open a project.

3. You should then click on Record and Create on the left side.

4. Afterwards, click on Text-To-Speech.

5. In the Text-To-Speech section on the right, select your Language.

6. Next, select a Voice. You can click on the “Hear this voice” link below a voice to hear a short audio preview to hear what it sounds like.

7. Click the Advanced Settings section. Here, you will be able to adjust the Vocal Pitch and Pace of the A.I. voice. For some of the options, you can also change the Emotion.

8. In the text box below, you can type or paste the text that you want to convert over to speech. A Preview button is available if you want to hear the voice over.

If the A.I. voice does not sound right, then you can change any of the aforementioned Text-To-Speech settings, and then click on Preview again.

Keep tweaking until it sounds natural.

9. Once you are satisfied with the output, click on the Save button. The Text-To-Speech audio should then be saved to your timeline.

10. You can then click the Export option.

11. Clipchamp will turn the Text-To-Speech audio into a MP4 video.

12. If you want convert the MP4 video into a MP3 audio file, then you should go to the MP4-to-MP3 page on the Cloud Convert website.

13. From there, select the MP4 file to upload it to the site.

14. Afterwards, click Convert.

15. Finally, click the Download button to download the MP3 audio file.
