How to disable Voice Assistant on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

The Voice Assistant cannot be completely disabled on the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. However, you can limit this feature by changing how the power button functions.

1. Launch the Settings app.

2. Select System from the list of options available in the Settings app.

3. In the System menu, select Gestures.

4. Inside the Gestures menu, select Press and hold power button.

5. In the Press and hold power button screen, make sure that the switch next to the Hold for Assistant setting is set to the left. If it is set to the right, then you need to select this setting in order to move the switch left and, thus, disable this feature.
