The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra are the latest tablet models from Samsung. You can take a look at this article to see how you can safely clean and disinfect these devices.
What cleaning solution can you use for the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra?
When it comes to the cleaning solution, Samsung suggest that you use plain water, hypochlorous acid (with 50 ppm to 80 ppm concentration), ethanol (with least 70% concentration) or isopropyl alcohol (with least 70% concentration).
Do not use compressed air or bleach as these may damage your tablet.
If you are looking for a product recommendation for your Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus or Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, then we suggest taking a look at the 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol Electronics Cleaner from MG Chemicals, which you can find on Amazon with this link. (#CommissionsEarned).
With isopropyl alcohol, you will be able to clean and disinfect your Samsung tablet at the same time. Furthermore, this solution will dry up a lot faster when compared to water, which makes it a lot safer to use with electronics.
What cleaning cloth can you use Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra?
When it comes to the cleaning cloth, you need to use a lint-free, soft microfiber cloth for your S8, S8+ or S8 Ultra. If you use a cloth with a rougher surface, then it may end up scratching the case and/or screen of the tablet.
If you don’t have a soft microfiber cloth, then we recommend picking up the MagicFiber Microfiber Cleaning Cloth, which is available on Amazon via this link. (#CommissionsEarned).
How to clean the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra
In order to properly clean your Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ or Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, we recommend that you take the following steps:
1. If you haven’t done so already, turn off your S8 series tablet.
2. You should also remove the case, USB cable as well as other accessories that you may have attached to the tablet.
3. Next, apply the cleaning solution to the cleaning cloth.
Do not put the cleaning solution directly on your tablet as the S8 series offers no water protection whatsoever.
You should also make sure that the cloth is not too wet. If you see it dripping, then we recommend squeezing out any excess liquid before you continue on to the next step.
4. Gently wipe your Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus or Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra clean.
For the harder to clean spots, you can apply a little bit more pressure with a slightly damper cloth.
5. If the tablet case is also dirty, then we recommend wiping it clean as well.
6. Once you are done with the wiping, we recommend letting your tablet air dry.
To speed up the drying process, you can use a fan to add more air circulation around your S8 series tablet.
We don’t recommend using any heat source, such as a hair blow dryer or space heater, as these may cause overheating and other issues with these electronics.
7. Once your S8, S8+ or S8 Ultra has completely dried, you should be able to safely turn it back on again.
