Blink recently released the third generation Blink Outdoor. So, how does the new product compare to the older Blink XT2?

You can find out in this comparison guide between the two smart security cameras.

Quick Summary

When compared to the Blink XT2, the third generation Blink Outdoor comes with privacy zones for motion detection as well as local storage (although you will need a USB flash drive, which is sold separately).

The XT2 model does offer free cloud storage while the cloud storage for the new Blink Outdoor camera needs a paid subscription after the trial period ends on Dec. 31, 2020.
