Display Specs

The new ViewSonic ELITE XG270QC Gaming Monitor has the better peak brightness at 550 cd/m2 and lowest response time (typical GTG) at 3 ms when compared to its competitors. The display is somewhat lacking when it comes to refresh rate as it can achieve 165Hz refresh rate only through the display port.

Out of the competition, the ViewSonic ELITE XG270 Gaming Monitor has the best refresh rate at 240 Hz. With that said, its maximum resolution is 1080p, which is lower than the 1440p capabilities of the XG270QC and XG270QG.

Speaking of the ViewSonic ELITE XG270QG, this monitor is equipped to display 1.07 billion colors, more than the capabilities of the aforementioned XG270 and XG270QC.

The other major difference is that the XG270QC has a curved-shaped display. Curve screens are considered to be more immersive for gaming and give you a better sense of depth. These monitors are also better at protecting against reflections and glare.

One last difference is that the XG270QC is compatible with the AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. On the other hand, the XG270 and XG270QG support NVIDIA G-Sync.
