Weight

The Skullcandy Push Ultra is also quite a bit heavier at 139.5 g when compared to the original Skullcandy Push, which weighs in at 54.2 g.

Impedance

The Skullcandy Push has an impedance of 16 Ohms while the Skullcandy Push Ultra has an impedance of 32 Ohms. 32 Ohms is considered to be the current standard for wireless earphones.

Driver Diameter

The Skullcandy Push True Wireless In-Ear Earbud has a driver diameter of 9.2 mm while the Skullcandy Push Ultra True Wireless In-Ear Earbud has a driver diameter of 12.5 mm. In general, having a bigger driver will lead to better bass output.

The sound pressure level (or SPL for short) for the Skullcandy Push is 100 +/-3dB. The SPL for the Skullcandy Push Ultra is a little higher at 101-107dB. Thus, the Push Ultra wireless earphones can sound louder than the older Push wireless earphones.

Both products have a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 KHz. As a result, the earphones will be able to produce sounds in deep bass to all the way to high pitch.

Water Resistance

According to Skullcandy, the Push True Wireless In-Ear Ear Bud features some sort of water resistance although no specifics have been revealed.

The Push Ultra True Wireless In-Ear Ear Bud has been rated for IP67 resistance. As a result, you can drop the earphones in water at up to 1 meter in depth for the maximum of 30 minutes.
