Garmin has two similar Performance GPS Cycling/Bike Computers with the Edge 530 and Edge 830. So, what are the main differences between these two electronic devices?

You can find out in this comparison guide for the 530 and 830 models.

Quick Summary

When compared to the Garmin Edge 530, the Garmin Edge 830 comes with touchscreen controls, which makes it easier to use while riding a bicycle. The 830 model is also the only one of the two to support an on-device course creator.

Aside from the aforementioned differences, the two Performance GPS Cycling/Bike Computers have identical features, compatibility with other devices, battery life, temperature ranges and waterproof rating.
